The Kemetic Prayer Flags are time honoured relics used to purify and protect the energies of a space. Originally flown over temples and nomes, the colors and mantras dawning the flag are symbolic of divinities and flown for different purposes. Prayer flags bless the air surrounding the area and bring blessings and repel negativities. Therefore the ideal place to hang these flags is the highest point so they can affect the whole area.

A flag also signifies the commitment of those who live by the 77 commandments and Kemetic principles, so all those who enter your space will know you’re standing for the roots of human spiritual culture: Kem culture.

Old flags are not removed, thrown away, burned, buried, etc. Instead they remain as part of the chain of flags and become a long chain over time. Flags that need renewing are mounted next to the old flags, which are mounted during auspicious times and conditions in order to invoke energies victoriously.

Your prayer flags can be displayed anywhere in the home, outside, in your prayer space, or atop buildings such as homes or sacred places. Because of their spiritual significance, the prayer flags are never to be used as clothing or placed on the ground.
