Kemetic Cosmogony

The Kemetic Cosmogony (Egyptian creation story or Egyptian story of creation).

In the M’TAM Schools, (humanity’s oldest system of education), it is taught that a cosmogony is a description of the origin of existence perceived by a specific group of people. It’s a group of related concepts, and facts that represent the structure of how existence is perceived in time and space by those people. The foundation of any social structure is its cosmogony.

Understanding the cosmogony in this context illustrates the importance of knowing the cosmogony perceived by our Ancestors, rather than the apocalyptic cosmogony our current society functions on. Neb Naba Lamoussa Morodenibig narrates the original Kemetic cosmogony, preserved and passed down for generations, now available to those seeking to reclaim their Ancestral culture and spirituality.

The Sidereal Calendar and Traditional Time Division

In this lecture, Neb Naba Lamoussa Morodenibig lays the foundation for understanding The Sidereal Calendar, its basis: the Sirius Star, and the original reasoning and techniques for keeping time. This groundbreaking lecture exposes the contradictions and politics in the modern system’s methods of timekeeping and the true origins of the Gregorian and Julian calendar. He also reveals the background to humanity’s original calendar, exploring the following topics:

  • What is time?

  • The origins of the clock

  • The 1461-year cycle of the Septet (Sirius) Star

  • What is a Year?

  • Origins of the “Leap Year”

  • The human connection to Universal cycles

  • The Rhythms of the Sun, Moon and Earth

New York Lecture

“The land we belong to is so vast, no matter how far you walk, you just cannot reach the end, but if your heart is in the right place, wherever you turn will be your home.” - Neb Naba Lamoussa Morodenibig

There is a way of approaching life and nature coming from home and our Ancestors that will never lead you astray, without this approach you will be a tree without roots. Then there is a colonial approach coming from the colonizer which masquerades as belonging to us and our Ancestors only because we have chosen to base our identity on oppression from colonization, and it is so deeply ingrained in us that we think it is a part of us or coming from our Ancestors.

Our Ancestors function on an understanding of the life that transcends death.
Death is the great equalizer and this society’s greatest mystery. All the minds of science struggle to solve this riddle but our Ancestors pierced the veil of death thousands of years ago. Our Ancestors understand death and how to investigate and question nature to have answers to questions modernity is unable to answer. This understanding instructs our approach to everything in our daily lives in our Ancestral paradigm. This lecture offers valuable insight coming straight from the knowledge and traditions preserved from humanity’s original civilization, Kemet.

Neb Naba Lamoussa Morodenibig, a Dogon high priest and master healer from West Africa, and founder of The Earth Center, brings with him knowledge of Kemetic culture and spirituality. He covers a wide variety of topics, from the basic logics and tenants of spirituality, the Medu (Hieroglyphic) language, world history from outside the colonial perspective, the importance of the Ancestral Spirit, traditional Sidereal Astronomy, and much more.

Polygamy

In our modern “Western” society, polygamy is often misunderstood and misrepresented. Due to centuries of being educated away from an indigenous understanding of marriage, gender roles, and the family structure, we find ourselves in a situation where marriage and relationships have been reduced down to sex and superficial desires.

In Kemetic culture, marriage, and polygamy are not about sex. The Kemetic family structure is centered around growing a family for raising children for a better future and protecting them. A woman is taking on the responsibility to nourish, direct, and ensure the continuation of a bloodline. Kemetic structure makes sure no child is orphaned without a mother and father, and the beauty of the family structure is that it provides stability for the children.

When we encounter the notion of polygamy today, we may often ponder questions like “Is polygamy wrong? Good? How does it work?” etc… However, we have to consider where our information is coming from about this concept, and what we are not considering due to this limited exposure. In this lecture, Master Naba discusses the traditional and spiritual roots of the notion of polygamy, and how it has and continues to be practiced today in cultivating strong families in Meritah. Watch to learn more about traditional culture and the principles at its foundation.

Traditional Education System Vs Modern Education

What is the purpose of education?

In the society we are in, we can see that from young, our education grooms us to think like and emulate values from our colonizers. In the US, a regular school day begins with the recitation of the “Pledge of Allegiance” to a blood-drenched flag of imperialism and colonialism. Ultimately, those who educate our children, own our children, and influence whom they end up becoming. Historically the purpose of colonial education has/is to displace indigenous values and cultures globally. There was a time in Africa, French colonizers were forcing children at gunpoint to attend colonial schools. Today, that proverbial gun has been internalized as a mindset as we clamor to pay thousands of dollars to assume massive debts for an education from colonizers who disconnected us from the knowledge of our Ancestors, now, we willingly beg to assimilate into the same system that subjugated our Ancestors to horrors.

In Kemetic indigenous culture, education is very different, at the age of 7/8, children enter the initiation camps. This knowledge has been preserved in secret outside of the colonial system. Traditional education systems teach a child what it is to be human, how to navigate and fit harmoniously into Nature, and the principles that will nurture and grow their spirit. They are given the tools and guidance necessary to work towards the destiny they came to achieve in this lifetime.

Traditional Healing Vs Modern Medicine

The history of colonization connects to our daily lives of health and medicine in that modern medicine is only 200 years old and a product of the colonial system. Although it claims to be the authority on human health, how can a system that has only been around for 200 years have the level of understanding and knowledge of our Ancestral traditions, which still continues and has been around for over 10,000 years?

The recent global pandemic and the fact it left Africa essentially untouched speaks to this knowledge at play and the deep understanding of Nature, and the different aspects that compose a human being and their health. Our exposure to this history is severely limited, as it would compromise the power and legitimacy of modern medicine and our dependency on it for our health.

Modern medicine is limited to the physical dimension, and the core pillars are antibiotics, painkillers, and surgery. Why would you surgically remove parts of the body that are needed? Or “kill pain”, which serves as an indication that there is an imbalance? Why are we so freely consuming antibiotics, when even the word refers to a substance that is anti-bio, or anti-life.

Unlike a doctor that deals with liability and symptom management, a healer, has a goal of preserving life, and understands that life itself exists in a delicate balance between forces. Illness arises when there is an imbalance between these forces. Traditional healing takes into consideration all the aspects of a human, including the nonmaterial and spiritual aspects.

Watch this lecture to learn more about traditional healing methods, and how this knowledge can empower our lives.

The Holy Drama

Neb Naba Lamoussa Morodenibig retells the oldest story known to humanity. Humanity has been without this story for thousands of years. This lecture methodically illustrates the fundamental principles of spirituality, philosophy and human genius. The original story of The Holy Drama has been passed down for millennia since the Pharaonic Dynasties. Presented from the Kemetic perspective for the first time in the West from an authentic Kemetic Dogon priest.

The Holy Drama features the sequence of events surrounding the second trinity of Gods in the Kemetic Cosmogony. It highlights the life and death of WSR (Osiris), the attempt of his brother SETH to destroy him, the sacrifice and efforts of his wife AISHAT (Isis) to recover and revive him so that they may conceive the god-child, HERU (Horus).
In Indigenous Kemetic civilizations, the Holy Drama is a pillar for human quality and enlightenment.

“This topic is so enigmatic. It will call on your mind, your reasoning, and your common sense. But, this one will also call on your heart. So, wherever you think it’s hard to put the reasoning part together, maybe check a bit below the head and you will see. The Holy Drama is specifically engineered to call on every aspect of yourself.”
– Neb Naba Lamoussa Morodenibig

The Family Tree

In just a few generations the family structure has changed significantly. It is increasingly common for elders to live out their years separated from their families, dying in a home unable to pass wisdom to the younger generation, who are suffering from poor mental health, instability, and lack of guidance. Where are these changes in values coming from?

In this lecture, Neb Naba Lamoussa Morodenibig introduces the importance of family and how family works in spiritual traditions. In this paradigm, it is understood that the goal of the family structure is to protect the children, and each member of the family has a role that contributes to stability for the whole unit. The Kemetic Indigenous family structure understands how the bloodline comes from the father and the destiny line comes from the mother, and details the significance of these lines and the effect they have on us as individuals.

The Ancestors and Human Destiny

What are Ancestors and what role do they play in our lives and destiny?

In indigenous cultures all around the world, it is understood that Ancestral spirits have an irrefutable influence in the lives of their descendants. Even the blood in your veins does not belong to you, and your body is on loan from your Ancestors. Each human born is like a baton being passed. This comes with responsibilities that are well understood in systems of Ancestral spirituality. We all have a spiritual destiny, but whom or what is in control of it and when is it decided? And how many versions of a destiny are there? Our destiny is not set in stone, and can be conditional….

To learn the answers to these questions and learn what Kemetic Mystery Schools have been teaching for thousands of years in their temples, watch this lecture, which reveals intiatic knowledge normally reserved for initiates. The only authentic Kemetic Initiation was brought to the western world by Neb Naba Lamoussa Morodenibig in the M’TAM School of Kemetic Philosophy.

Mapping The Cosmos

How are time and spirituality connected? What does the Dogon tribe say about the Sirius star?

Many of us today cannot answer basic questions about what time is based on - for example, what is the leap year? Who was Pope Gregory XII and why are we following his calendar? Why are there 7 days in the week, 24 hours in a day? Most of us are unaware that our notion of time has been colonized...

In the Kemetic Indigenous paradigm, our Ancestors understood that time division was based on the rhythms and cycles of Nature, as these rhythms and cycles affect our lives as human beings on the planet Earth. Fitting into the harmony of Nature was the goal that fueled our Ancestors to map out the sky and stars, and investigate how the movements of celestial bodies and the Earth affect our daily lives.
