Aside from the genius evident in the calendar itself, this year’s edition is evidence that the tomb raiding approach to knowledge is all the more shameful because the origins of the knowledge are still intact. Much like modern horoscopes, a God or Goddess governs each month. Your birthday day determines your sign. The Rising Firefly was founded by the late Dogon Spiritual Master Neb Naba Lamoussa Morodenibig. Today, led by his disciples and cultural and spiritual revolutionaries from around the globe, we continue to honor intellectual honesty by investigating the roots of human values.

Treasures of the archives
The Sidereal Calendar is the calendar that was used during the times of the Pharaohs in Kemet. This is humanity’s oldest calendar, yet it is still in use today as the most astronomically accurate calendar in human history.
Throughout the world, many cultures have been forced to use the Gregorian calendar because of colonization. The Sidereal Calendar gives us a link to humanity’s original culture while providing accurate time division. It unites all of humanity as one people while offering all of us a reference in time and space that is not based on socio-religious or political events. All calculations of the calendar are based on the great heliacal rising of the Sirius Star.
