Souley: The Chewstick for the Liver & Kidneys

The best way to deal with a serious illness is to prevent it. Regularly cleansing the body--the blood and the different organs--is perhaps the ideal way to go about doing so. By regularly expelling toxins from the body one can avoid an overaccumulation of impurities and resulting disease. Remember, even pneumonia can start off as a common cold. So, today more and more people are acknowledging “cleansing” as a way to maintain good health.

In a previous article, we had focused on the blood and Ninika, a blood cleansing recipe from Meritah (Africa) that is so vital to the health of the human being that it is referred to as “The Human Being’s Best Friend” (see Rising Firefly Vol. 68: Ninika - Human Being’s Best Friend). In this issue we are going to move to two other parts of the body: the liver and kidneys.

THE LIVER

One of the major roles of the liver is keeping the blood clean through properly digesting sugar. The modern diet is often comprised of sugars which often come from carbohydrates, fruit or refined sugar. After a person eats something with sugar, the liver is responsible for taking that sugar and preparing it so that the body can use it as energy, or converting it into fat and storing it in other parts of the body so that it can be used as energy later. However, if the body senses that it has received too much sugar, then the liver will actually dump the excess amount into the bloodstream, which dirties the blood. Not only can this overexert and damage your liver, but this also leads to high blood pressure, cholesterol and heart issues, among others. Another role of the liver is to produce bile, which is one of two gastric juices (the other being acid) that are necessary for good digestion. By mixing an adequate amount of acid and bile (which neutralises the acid) in the stomach, the body is able to break down the food that we eat. If the liver is damaged and not able to produce the correct amount of bile, then the amount of acid and bile cannot be balanced in the stomach. That excess acid is now strong enough to burn parts of the digestive system, leading to major stomach issues including ulcers and cancer.

THE KIDNEYS

Humans are born with two kidneys and they are responsible for filtering the blood, so they have a very close relationship with the bloodstream. The foods that we eat often contain substances that dirty the blood, such as sugars, oils and minerals. When the blood reaches the kidneys, they will filter these substances out then send them to the bladder to later be urinated out from the body. There are problems that can come from too many of these substances reaching the kidneys. For example, excessive minerals can build up in the kidneys and clump together. This is what we refer to as “kidney stones”. The kidneys can also get taxed from the amount of filtering they have to do, leading to kidney dysfunction and even failure.

The liver and kidneys are two organs that unfortunately suffer from several issues as a result of our diet in the modern world. It isn’t uncommon to hear of someone having jaundice, liver failure, hepatitis, kidney stones, or kidney failure at a young age. Many of these issues can be prevented by regularly cleansing those organs with natural recipes. One of those recipes is Souley.

WHAT IS SOULEY?

Souley is a mixture of plants, roots and tree bark harvested from tropical regions in Meritah, mainly the central country of Togo. Natural spices are also mixed in. This mixture is then formed into a small ball to be used as a tea. Souley is all-natural and does not contain chemicals, pesticides or preservatives. The recipe comes from the Tem tribe which has used Souley for over 3,000 years, since the time that the tribe settled in the central region of Togo.

Tem people are well known in Meritah for their expertise in the healing domain. Souley is known as a very effective, potent cleanser of the liver and kidneys, so much so that its name means “chew stick”. “Souley is like a chew stick,” explained Iritah Shenmira, an Ankhkasta healer who has been initiated by the Tem culture in Togo. “It goes in the body and cleans, just like a chew stick goes and cleans the mouth. Only, it cleans the organs (liver and kidneys).”

Souley, along with Ninika, was introduced to the modern world in 1998 by Master Healer Prophet Neb Naba Lamoussa Morodenibig, providing people in these societies the opportunity to benefit from the powerful medicines. The Prophet founded the healing organisation Ankhkasta Natural Healing.

Souley can be taken in different ways.

You may often see it in a tea form, in which case you would take the small ball explained earlier and put it in a pot of water, boil it, and drink two cups per day with lemon juice. When the medicine reaches the liver and kidneys, it absorbs any dead or sick cells and the medicine, along with the cells, are simply eliminated through the urine. If a person is dealing with a chronic issue and drinking the tea isn’t strong enough, then they can bathe in the herbs. This will help heal and even protect from the issue. Ankhkasta also offers Souley in a capsule form. In this case you would take one capsule with a full glass of water with lemon juice twice a day. The capsule form works in the same way as the tea form of the medicine (Ankhkasta Natural Healing provides Souley in vegetable-based capsules).

Souley is so potent that only two doses are needed per year for liver and kidney maintenance (one dose is equal to one ball or one bottle of capsules). This is a stark contrast to pharmaceuticals and supplements which often are taken daily or weekly for months or years.

TAKING NINIKA AND SOULEY TOGETHER

If you’ve used Souley and/or Ninika from Ankhkasta then you’ve likely heard how the two medicines go hand-in-hand. This is because they compliment each other in that one cleans the blood and one cleans the organs that keep the blood clean. Thus, it is best to use the herbs together because if you clean the blood but the organs that keep the blood clean are dirty, or vice versa, then the blood will continue to get dirty.

These two medicines can also be effective in treating Hepatitis B and C. Additionally, they can be used to build the body’s immunity. If you take Ninika for an extended period of time, then after the initial doses clean the impurities from the blood, the later doses will continue to be present in the blood, protecting the body from any oncoming sickness. Also, as stated earlier, Souley can be used in a bath to deal with more serious issues, and so can Ninika. These baths heal and protect the body. In essence, Souley and Ninika can be used as natural vaccinations. The medicines can be used for all ages, but children younger than 2 years old should only have them administered externally (such as in a bath or poultice).

The body has its own processes of expelling waste but in many cases it’s just not enough. For this reason, human beings have used nature’s medicines to clean the body for millenniums. For those of us living in the city it is even more vital to cleanse because many of us eat processed foods and take mineral supplements on a daily basis. These things tax the liver and kidneys and, without help, chances are that those two organs will suffer. Instead, give your body a better chance at living a longer, healthier life by preventing serious issues.
