Understanding the Reality of a Human Being

Ka’at Ibi: Understanding the Reality of a Human Being

At the time I attended colonial university I thought I was an intelligent person. I used to get good grades in all my subjects and kept up with the requirements of my classes. At a lecture in New York City, Manhattan, I met a Dogon High Priest named Master Naba Lamoussa Morodenibig and my self-perception changed. In his lecture, Prophet Neb Naba did not seem to have a predetermined topic. Instead, it seemed that after sensing our energy he started talking about subjects addressing us directly.  He spoke about Christianity and asked the crowd, ”Is Christianity from God or man?” Most people in the room said, ”God” but he assured us that it was a man. After “that,” most of the attendees got up and left; I stayed. They left because they felt that he insulted their intelligence. I stayed because I could see that the prophet had given me a chance to think for myself. I then understood by them claiming the bible to be God’s word totally prevented us the power to question it. This did not make sense. Most of us have an emotional attachment to Christianity and the bible, but if we question it, we can see that it doesn’t make sense.  After the lecture, I not only didn’t feel intelligent any longer, but he had made me feel as small as a roach. Even more impressive, I was not insulted because he was honest with me; I just  wanted to learn more. Everything the Prophet had said was from our Ancestor’s Traditional Culture and humanity’s oldest culture: The Nile Valley civilization.

Two years later I enrolled and attended classes at the Earth Center in Brooklyn. This is when I really began to understand the reality of a human being. Did you know that with all the intelligence and genius that we might want to claim, we do not have the power to create or invent? We can only imitate what we see. This puts us at a disadvantage because we need divine guidance to protect ourselves. We need protection from the influence of our surroundings.  Though we try hard to ignore this, it is a fact we all can see. When a child is born, if the child is not taught how to walk and talk, he or she will not know how to. We are so good at imitating what we see that before the spiritual evolution of humanity we were imitating what we could perceive in nature. We were acting and living like the beasts and animals of the bush: setting traps for each other, hunting each other and literally eating each other. On the 19th of Tehuti is humanity’s spiritual evolution  when we were given Divine laws and principles to govern ourselves and to live in harmony with existence and the Divine. If it was not for the Divine World giving us the 77 Divine Laws of human behavior, ablution and zemzem, Ka’at ibi, etc., we would not have crossed this threshold out of bestial and barbaric behavior. This is the reality of a human in nature with no divine teachings. We depend on our teachers. Without this group of laws, we would not know how to be human beings.

Do you know that we are very corruptible by nature? If we do not know this basic fact about ourselves as human beings then the very evil that we should fight, we instead become. This is exactly what the system has done to us. They have taken away the 77 Divine Laws. The result is that today’s so called civilized societies are full of drug abusers, rapists, murderers, homosexuals, psychotics, wars, rumors of wars, corrupt police officers, racists and the list goes on and on. How can we talk about being civilized when we are exhibiting these starkly barbaric behaviors? This is what happens when we lose our way of living and veer away from the original model of the Divine World; the original model of The Great Book of Divine Ordinances that was given to humanity by the Divine World for all of us to evolve into high quality human beings.

Now we partake in evil and have claimed our position as destroyers and invaders of this great planet and we still don’t know it because we cannot create or invent. We are only a product of what we have been exposed to, which for the last two millennia has been our own self-destruction via the destruction of human values, culture and tradition.

We need to go back to our original model of human behavior. It was given to us by the Divine World to help us evolve past barbarism, and it also teaches us how to be clean & pure beings. When we don’t follow the 77 commandments, anything goes and we are left to the mercy and corruptibility of our imaginations. The 77 commandments help us on a social and individual level. They help us to see our own corruption and force us to take responsibility for our own actions.  They give us a chance to transform ourselves into high quality human beings, and quality human beings form a quality society.

The colonial system is the opposite: it presents to us 10 commandments which keep us in a social box but give us no power on our personal pursuit of quality. The commandments that were taken out eliminate the power these commandments have in our lives. It eliminates the ability for us to see corruption within ourselves So we stay distracted, blaming others for the destruction that surrounds us. This is why humanity on a whole is at war with itself. Until we can identify the enemy within, we will continue to be our own greatest obstacle. This is the reality of a human being that Prophet Neb Naba exposed to me. Now I am able to see my own corruption and evil within myself because of these 77 Divine Laws. When I allow myself to be guided by these Divine Laws I make more intelligent decisions in my life. Before being exposed to our/my roots, there was no way for me to achieve any substantial intelligence. We can change our behavior through our Ancestor’s traditional initiatic education. Based on my own experience, I highly recommend that everyone visit The Earth Center website because if we want to change the world, we have to start with ourselves, we must be the symbol of this change we wish to see. It is our example, what we can show and prove, that will change the people in the world.
