To The Memory of Our Master Neb NABA Lamoussa Morodenibig
On Zu-dua-nt of Remnhery in the month of Hebsenseni (July 21st) in the 408th seasonal year since the last Heliacal Rising of the Sothis star (2008), in Sokode, Togo, West Africa, the founder of The Earth Center and publisher of The Rising Firefly Magazine, Master Naba Lamoussa Morodenibig, passed away due to very rare health complications. He left a very profound legacy that positively affected the lives of many people around the world. Master Naba nurtured many relationships with people from all walks of life regardless of the cultural or ethnic differences that may have been present among them. The enlightenment of humanity was his focus and the sole reason behind the work that he vigilantly dedicated his life to.
He will be missed by many, but perhaps those who will miss him most are those he spent the bulk of his time with over the last decade, his students. Words cannot express the loss that the students of The Earth Center have been coping with since Master Naba made his transition into the Imentet (World of the Dead). More than just a teacher, he was a father figure to all of his students who had the honour of meeting and being taught by him. The gift of knowledge and cultural identification that he bestowed upon us will remain to be our guiding light in our continued effort to perpetuate his work along with the high standards, human quality and ancestral values that accompany it.
This issue of The Rising Firefly is dedicated to the memory of Master Naba as expressed by his students. It will be through the quality of how we live our lives that the world will know who Master Naba was and what he represented, not only to us, but to everyone striving for the elevation of the human consciousness and unity within the human species.
The staff of The Rising Firefly would like to thank all of our loyal readers who throughout the years have supported us and followed the written teachings of Master Naba. It is our wish that we all grow closer and receive the blessing of having your continued support of The Rising Firefly well into the future as we continue our attempt to enlighten our readers by sharing the knowledge that Master Naba passed on through us. Although many of our readers never had the opportunity to meet Master Naba, we hope that this special issue will allow you to gain a little more insight about who he was through the eyes of his students.
