Civilizational Conspiracies: Using the Powers of Nature
The human intelligence or wisdom, whether it is conscious or subconscious, exists and manifests itself generally as an independent entity or a reservoir of possibilities that constitute what we simply call human genius. The human genius, despite what we want to believe, behaves like a parallel world flowing like a river of intelligence on the side of what we perceive, what we can perceive and what we want to perceive. It is the world of light made of thousands of possibilities, all of them brilliant and ingenious in their space and the time that is determining their becoming. Every sequence in the becoming of that world will represent the most elevated point on a curve formed by an arc formed by a part of the circle that the observer is taking into consideration. By that principle, every intellectual brilliance of a society or individual will only be so temporary whether because we have found better or simply because the criteria or reasons we have found to our actions and values have changed The human genius then is a parallel world that only offers to us what is the brilliance of the moment. That human genius presents itself to the human being as a coronation of his period of intellectual effort, intuition, or even his search for material and non-material territories on which the existence gives us a chance to make peace with this universe that instead of answering our questions is leading us to questioning our methods of investigation.
The question of knowing if what we consider as the highest point of our intellectual manifestation or even emotional manifestation is this way only in relation to the elements and criteria that are arbitrarily chosen so that it will make our real or non-real battle with the environment and the universe a process that will make us the presumed winners. In my village, it is often said that a lizard that falls from the top of the tree will sing its own praises if nobody does it for him. We can see in that proverb the strong point that we attribute to the lizard resides in its survival of a fall from the top of a tree, not in its ability to avoid falling or simply to stay on the ground...or why not staying eternally on that tree? In that same logic we will see our tendency of believing that we are lucky every time we have survived an accident and this is without ever asking ourselves if we are lucky because we have survived an accident, what do we say about those who did not have that accident?!
We can even push further in the arbitrary aspect or even the hypocrisy of the criteria that we set to the unintelligent values that we adopt, especially against the existential values like the mortal nature of the human being against our passionate search for the joy and happiness. Our search for pleasure and the importance we are allocating to the fulfillment of our desires and the pleasures of our senses while we could see the mortal nature of our essence, the fragility of our bodies, the aging, illness, etc.
We can say without risk of being wrong that the human being possesses only his dream and imagination as grandiose territory. We cannot in all honesty allocate the same grandeur that we are giving our dreams and imaginations to the senses within us that give us the possibility of dreaming. These senses present to us the possibility of escaping and running away from the humiliation that existence and reality gives to us - a bit like a suicide which even though gives to the suicidal the sense of escaping the torture that is represented by our march through the suffering of life towards the death, in reality it only represents the rush towards that same death... We can see by the fact that the human being is capable of either committing suicide or finding refuge in the world of his own thoughts or imagination that we are exposing our inability to reconcile with the universe that appears to arbitrarily include us in its becoming. We can see that one does not escape the destiny of death by killing oneself; we can also see that one does not resolve a problem by rejecting it or by maintaining the illusion that we possess our own world, whether this world is imaginary or simply made of phenomenon that we believe we understand and accept, as long as that world will be part of the universe, who says that it is not part of what we are running away from?! Who says that our hiding place is not by itself the creation of this same universe, a corner simply set to allow us to advance towards simplification while maintaining the sense of our brilliance in our capabilities that we admire. This is a bit like a zoo in the middle of a big city giving the animals the impression of being in their natural environment.
The human being on Earth will simply feel like a fish out of water if the nature did not put in his disposition a parallel world and an imagination that is fertile enough to make him see what he wants to see, feel what he wants to feel, etc. and provide for him elements that will allow him to believe what he wants to believe.
How much is a human thought worth if it is outside a human world? Can we accept that our genius and brilliance only comes to add on the genius and brilliance of the other species on earth a bit like a birds song coming to add onto the noises of the forest or a color and perfume of a flower coming to add to the scenery of the forest so that all of them will project an odor, color, sound, etc. of the forest or even of this planet?
What is a human world worth outside of human thought? Can we accept the reality according to which the universe does not contain a space that is empty enough to allow the emergence of entities that do not have history? If emptiness does not exist, we can then say that the object, entity, nomenon, and phenomenon, etc. everything that we perceive are then nothing but diverse "thicknesses" of the universe. The existence is then like a soup that is undercooked, containing lumps of diverse dimensions. My neighbor and me then are only differentiated through the space that we occupy in the soup of the universe; this difference will not exist as a consciousness and since we are the products of the same existential fluid the particularity will only be determined through the density of the space and the space occupied by a given density.
We can then see that it is the human thought that is at least giving us the illusion of being protected from the becoming of the existence without our creativity. The universe continues its trek to reduce us into entities without personalities, desires, or will, just like grains of sand, plants and even other animals that we have not hesitated into reducing to a décor or environment inside which we evolve. Our march towards simplification can be seen as a necessity in the becoming of the universe if we consider the unadapted nature and the primitive constitution of the human philosophy and psychology. The upright position of the human species is simply not appropriated to a life on a planet that possesses a gravitational force. The scientific of the modern world rushed into saying that by having a bigger brain we are very intelligent, and we forget to observe that about 60% of the human brain is used to maintain our bodily functions, position, and the coordination between diverse parts of our body. The four-legged position is simply more efficient in the struggle against a gravitational force; animal with four legs do not sway every time they close their eyes, while for the human being even the act of resting and being seated is before anything a cerebral act...
If we must give a direction to human evolution, this evolution can only go towards our ability to survive the test existence is bringing to us, the evolution towards cerebral and physical simplicity. We must look for the most comfortable positions that only necessitate a minimum physical effort considering the fact that we have always ended by losing the battle we have engaged against the laws of nature. The fact that physiologically we always have started by getting up and placing ourselves on our feet like if we were defying the gravitational force and to later on end with a bent spinal column, pains and aches in our joints and bones, etc. and finally end up giving the impression that we are returning back to the same earth we are running from.
This is maybe why our discovery of the gods as entities that have succeeded in resolving what for us represents existential problems led us to perceive what could be the world of the gods.
The world of the Gods can only be perfect because here in the world of the humans, even our criteria of appreciation do not succeed in seducing us for a period of time that is long enough to represent a factor of stability. If we are mortal despite our attachment to life, the Gods simply do not die. They are pure and we are corrupted. Our world came to us with its own field of imagination and perceptions, etc. inside which we can recreate anything that submits to our fantasies. It becomes then important that the corrupted adopts an honorable attitude of avoiding surrendering the whole existence to his principles of corruption. The first spiritual acts of the human being towards the Gods could be the fact that we all should avoid polluting their world. It is practically impossible to mix the dirty with the clean, pure with the impure, sacred with the profane, etc. without tarnishing the pure, clean, sacred, etc.
We need the fact that Gods exist to inspire us and represent what we are looking for. Every time we try to submit them to our logic and our emotions we are simply committing a blasphemy and risk the destruction of the whole world. The respect of the sacred starts with our effort to make it inaccessible to the impure and the individual locked in their own illusions. We must accept that the human being does not have a secret garden that did not come with the world inside which he is being born. The human being only impresses humans. His genius is another world that is parallel made of perceptions and imaginations inside which he plunges to console himself every time the universe makes him face the proof of his weakness and fragility…
