John grew up in the United States. He was an average child that went to school and in his younger years, he started to dream about what he wanted to be when he got older. In school, they often asked him to choose what that would be. John didn’t care for school too much. He chose who his friends were, what TV shows he watched, and whether he did his homework or not. He chose not to help his mother in the house despite her asking, and often times chose not to listen to her demands or requests. He chose to come home at the time he wanted and he chose the spots he wanted to frequent with his friends. As he got older, he had been exposed to homosexuality and he decided he liked both girls and boys. He chose to lose his virginity at the age of 13 and then became intimate with both genders. John enjoyed recreation and he enjoyed recreational drugs too. He chose to smoke marijuana, abuse prescription medications and consume alcohol on a regular basis. Being torn between genders, he decided he didn’t want to get married so that he could continue to engage in relations with both genders. John didn’t want children, he decided they were too much work. Children are too expensive and would dampen his lifestyle of being free to do what he wanted when he wanted to do it.
Was John empowered by his ability to make the choices he made, or, did he feed a false sense of reality with his choices which in turn led to a destructive life style? John’s choices are not uncommon in modern-day America. Younger generations thrive on their ability to choose whatever they want and whenever they want to choose it. But is it the ability to choose among the plethora of choices modern society presents us with that’s important, or does the significance rest in what the human being chooses and how that choice is relevant to his or her life goal?
Unlike in modern society, in Kemetic or traditional societies human beings were clear on their purpose for coming into existence and therefore had a clear goal. Our Ancestors recognised millenniums ago that the human brain cannot create or invent and therefore, we are just very good at copying. Our Ancestors also encountered the World of the Gods and upon this encounter, recognised there is no better model to copy than the one of the Gods. In doing so, we decided we want to be like them. Our Ancestors knew very clearly that our chance at earthly existence is a privilege to come back and refine or raise our human quality with the purpose of getting closer and closer to reaching our goal of becoming like the Divine. The Divine provided humanity with the Divine Code of Human Behaviour or the 77 Commandments, by which we can have a system of checks and balances in order to do what is right and live up to our promise of being good which we made when we received that Divine Code. In short, the human being received forbidden territories and our Ancestors defined themselves by what they would not do based on these 77 principles. Our Ancestors protected the history they wrote through their actions and thoughts and made sure to be in alignment to the best of their abilities with the Divine Code, while this determined their position in the afterlife and in their next reincarnation.
So, what does this have to do with a human being’s ability to choose? Well based on our promise to be good and to continue the process of raising our quality and refining ourselves lifetime after lifetime, the trajectory for a human being has in many ways already been set or defined. Therefore the choices we make are only beneficial to us if they are in alignment with the goal that human beings have. Based on our goal and the responsibility we have to fit harmoniously within an existence that precedes us and that we are wholly subject to, what makes a vast majority of the choices that are presented by modern society relevant? If our human quality is determined by what we won’t do rather than making choices to do what we want to do, then is a human being not restricted? Is not our freedom to choose not then limited or narrowed?
It was only about 2100 years ago that the Greeks and Semites introduced a goal distinct from the one our Ancestors knew very clearly for the preceding hundreds of millennia. Invaders were interested in developing their own power, authority, and kingships and in doing so had to rebel against the structure and order that was adopted by humanity in accordance with the Divine model. But trying to get our Ancestors to stray from the order they lived by and their obsession of following the 77 Commandments and living a life focused on writing a good history for themselves, was no easy feat. Instead of focusing on the self, the Greeks had to convince Kemetic people to put their attention on the development of the nation. They did this through presenting this choice: will you sacrifice yourself for your nation or will you make sacrifices for yourself alone? Accepting only one response, the kings introduced the notion of selfishness and blamed people for being selfish if they didn’t make sacrifices for the nation.
In modern times sacrificing one’s life for the development of the nation is done with pride and honour. Now we find ourselves in these modern times living a life, making decisions and feeding our imaginations based on our politicians’ agendas. We have adopted the agenda of the nation which continues to be created and recreated based on a false sense of reality and hugely misaligned with the original goal that humans have and our Ancestors were so clear about.
The plethora of choices presented to us is not about us and not for our benefit but rather we make choices that fulfill the nation’s agenda while sacrificing ourselves, and our history, which leads to our own destruction and takes us farther away from reality. All the while, the nation continues to build itself at the expense of the human being.
We are drowning in our own destruction but with a sense of entitlement because we think we can choose whether we want to be a doctor, a lawyer, or the next president of the United States.
We have a sense of entitlement because we can choose whether we want to send our children to private or public schools, drive a Mercedes or a BMW and wear Louis Vuitton or Prada. How far have we come from living in accordance with the goal and purpose that was so vividly clear to our Ancestors? How many more generations will the nation mislead as we continue to destroy ourselves?
The choices have become commonplace. Politicians have succeeded greatly in convincing the modern human to adopt these distractions to the point that he/she thinks it is their right or freedom and he or she will be willing to die for these choices. The choices are made based on emotions and beliefs, impulses and reactions. Modern society, disconnected from our Ancestral culture and reality, believes what it wants to believe choosing to select how it wants to acknowledge reality. Modern human beings think they have a choice to accept or reject the realities of existence. What is unacceptable to the modern human, he chooses not to engage in or accept. What we either don’t perceive or choose not to perceive “exerts no pressure on us”.
Though reality can oftentimes be difficult to face and even unappealing or mundane, it doesn’t change the fact that it is reality. Reality shows us that human beings rely on the earth for all aspects of our survival and without the earth’s energy, we can’t live. We didn’t choose the time of our birth, who we were born to, the environment and time we were born in, and even the time we die. Despite our intentions and the choices that follow, we will be judged based on our behaviour and actions in our lifetime, that history we wrote for ourselves. At the time of judgement, we will not be able to choose who we blame for what we have done and the fantasies we invested in to distract us from reality. It will be our very own body that testifies against us. It will do this because we were fortunate enough to be born as human beings with an opportunity to refine ourselves and get closer to our goal, and the body we were gifted with came under the contract that we would work to follow the 77 Commandments. Under no other premise were we gifted this opportunity. The choice to write a good history for ourselves is a choice that rests in our hands and has very long term consequences and effects. The failure to appropriately take this opportunity and make the right choices can result in spiritual degeneration. If we can’t live up to the responsibilities of a human being then maybe we won’t have the choice to return as one. If we chose to be a liar or a thief in our lifetime then what may be offered to us in the next reincarnation is the becoming of a species that doesn’t have the option to lie or steal...maybe a tree or a clam. Interestingly, all other species manage to walk in accordance with their destinies and the expectations of nature. They do not stray from the goal that was set for them by existence.
It is human beings that do this. It is human beings that somehow think they have the right to do whatever they want and exist with principles that are against nature and somehow will not face consequences for going against their own destiny. Isn’t it time we wake up from these fantasies that were designed by politicians and don’t belong to us? Isn’t it time we make the choices our Ancestors made since these are the ones that sustained humanity for millennia upon millennia? What better goal is there than to perfect ourselves to come closer to the Divine World and make choices that get us closer to this perfection? For a spiritual person, there is nothing they will do to compromise the goal of attaining this perfection. It’s true that many have been disconnected from this goal but now that you know it, will you make any transformations or will you continue to live in fantasy and destroy yourself and the order of existence because you refuse to honour and acknowledge the goal? Charity well ordered starts with the self.
