The modernized man is so lost in corruption that he is blind to his steady walk to self-destruction. Aspects of a human being are being stripped away as people are forgetting what it means to be human. Modern society claims to be able to protect and lead people to a better way of life, but its history has shown that the only thing it has brought is destruction. Modern society has failed in prevent- ing a person from becoming less than human. I hear people bring the thought up when atrocities happen to people. When the planes flew into the World Trade Center on 9/11, many people couldn’t believe that someone would commit such an act. The killing of over 15 Sandy Hook Elementary school children in Connecticut shocked many people as well. People couldn’t understand why someone would do such things. The list can go on with more mass murders, shootings, bombings, mass manipulations, wars, and invasions. In all of these things people are astonished at how others can commit such inhumane acts. In order for someone to think that way, there must be a model of what constitutes humane acts.
If you look at the modern definition of the words humane and human, you will learn something very interesting. Humane means “to be characterized by tenderness, compassion, and sympathy for people and animals, especially for the suffering or distressed. It may also refer to that which is, or should be, characteristic of human beings”. Now let’s take a look at the word human. A human, based on the modern definition, is “having the nature of people, having attributes of a man or women as opposed to animals, divine beings, and machines”. It doesn’t even give a clear definition of what a human is or how they act. Someone would have to then define what it means to have the “nature of people”. When defining people you are led to defining persons. After defining persons you are led back to defining humans. You are then stuck in a loop where you are using the word to understand the word.
The modern concept of a human is only understood by looking at the things that connect to a human such as be- ing male or female, being self-conscious, or by other daily activities or physical features. It is like seeing a house from the outside and not knowing what’s inside it. You then try to define what is inside the house by the trees, plants, color of the house and oth- er things that surround it or that you can perceive. I’m sure your imagination will not give you the justice of a full understanding of what is in the house. This shows that modern society doesn’t know what it means to be human, let alone an order to maintain humanity.
This poses a huge problem. How can a human know what a human is to be if no one knows what it is? I would say, as in the house example, and since we all can see what a human body is, we just agree to accept what we see and say that a human is what it is. Leaving it at that is very dangerous. I’m sure we would agree that not knowing what something is could cause major harm to an individual. If you went to pet a lion in the wild while thinking it is a house cat you will be missing very important information and possibly a few fingers with it. Why then is it okay to not know important information about our very own identity? We think that the form we see and experience is what makes a human, but how could a person who never under- stood what a human is think they do? It seems as if people become adults and link being human with their age, aspects of their daily life and experiences. If you look at a person’s daily life, it is not much different from an animal’s life. They eat, sleep, and defecate too, but human life is also filled with things accepted from what society offers. So we can say that the only thing that separates a modern man from animals are social trends and mass media. The behaviors people imitate; the way they think and investigate; what is acceptable or not, etc... are given to you by societal pressures. At the same time, people from different coun- tries have different socially accepted behaviors based on what they perceive as right or wrong. There isn’t a foundation of structural behaviors put in place that is followed worldwide for humanity.
We have rulers who don’t take the time to educate humanity on what a human is. You can see there is no universal standard that helps to maintain the aspects of humans. The standards of what a human is changes based on where you live and how you feel about a situation. How can anyone be safe from the potential atrocities every human is capable of committing? We now can see people who decide to commit acts that are destructive to people and the environment. The modern rulers thought laws would change it, and when that didn’t work the leaders of the modern society decided to punish the individuals as if it didn’t have its hands in the becom- ing of that individual. They put people through terrible conditions, in jail to instill fear and express dominance over those that disobey their law. They give longer jail sentences, death sentences, and separate families as they see fit based on their guidelines of how a fam- ily should be. It’s interesting how the modern system can punish all of its inhabitants while not receiving any punishment for its lack of guidance. The rulers continue to force what they think is right and push their reasoning over the world. They ignore the signs in front of them and blame anything outside themselves. They blame video games as a reason for aggressive behavior in teens. They blame other countries as threats to peace and safety. They use that thought to push soldiers to think they are protecting their families from an enemy. The list goes on and on.
They develop a mentality that thinks they have to trick and manipulate the society with lies in order to protect its people and basically hide their shortcomings. They take no responsibility for their actions. That kind of response is that of a child who knows he messed up and attempts to hide it from its parents. What happens with dealing with reality the way it is? In this whole process you can see that leaders of the world today have lost their humanity in order to guide humanity. Knowing these things, we should not be surprised that a human will commit an inhumane act. It is surprising why it is allowed to continue. It’s obvious that the modern man doesn’t know what to do about it. When are the rulers of modern society going to change directions and adopt a structure to- wards preservation of human life? When is the modern man going to realize where he sits in this mess and start to be responsible for their actions?
In the process of gaining control of the world, modern rulers fought to destroy the very people who were upholding it, and those people are of the Kemetic society. They are the caretak- ers of human genius and development. They had learned from the teachings of the Divine World how to harmonize their actions with each other, the earth, and themselves with the purpose agreed upon with the Neteru (Gods) that created the order of existence as we know it. The Kemetic society has a clear purpose of raising the quality of an individual. Humanity had stood before the Neteru and set the goal in which every human will venture. The Gods gave us the tools to achieve that purpose. We received the 77 Commandments and were taught all things from how to speak, write, grow food, how to structure a kingdom, to how to be human. The structure of the society was based on the logic of the Gods. What better foundation for a society can there be? The leader of the world was the Pharaoh. The Pharaoh, along with the many tribes of the Ke- metic people, carried the weight of the world on his shoulders and strived forward for everyone by making sure we were continuing with our purpose.
When modern society decided, out of their ambition for power, to take the position of the ruler of the world through war, it was the beginning steps of the downfall of humanity. Modern society wanted the power and authority that came with the throne of the Pharaoh. What it failed to realize was the purpose of the throne and the goal of humanity. It lacked the major component for providing the guidance and leadership that is needed to move humanity forward. Many problems arose from the beginning of their reign till today. We have wars, racism, illnesses, slavery, religions, a dying environment, people suffering from oppression, and lack of basic necessities due to large disparities between resources and classism.
During the present day our world is in a mess and the only people who are upholding the purpose that humanity originally went towards are the people still holding to their traditions. The traditional people are feeding their ancestors and abiding by their guidance. They are providing to the Gods what they ask and fol- lowing their order. They are working towards the goal. Traditional people are the last of humanity. The traditional people are surviving, maintaining their values, and their humanity because of one critical component in each human’s development. The traditional people go through initiation. Initiation is the cultivator of quality for the human being. In initiation the initiate learns how a human should be and how to build the quality needed to overcome the challenges they will face in life. They are taught culture and how to think from a logical position. The initiation process is still being done through the Earth Center and many other traditions. What the modern man is missing is initiation. It makes sense that the modern man is lost in his impulsive tendency to cause destruction. It makes sense that each generation becomes worse. Nothing worthwhile is passed down to the future leaders of the world. The only things future generations receive are the problems that the generation before them have caused. The new generations in turn cause more and keep passing them on.
What sense does it make for someone to be taught how to count and say their ABC’s when they can’t even control their emotions? How can it be logical for you to learn about different animals and the environment while you are clueless about the body you operate? People go to the modern education systems to learn to work for the service of a system but there is nothing for the individual to learn to face their daily lives. You are left with a piece of paper after sixteen years that is proof that you are adept at serving something outside of yourself. Where do you learn about your humanity?
A whole aspect of the human is not even nurtured. We are seeing the effects of this in our time. Can we even consider most people to be human anymore? Many people are so caught up in the social trends and media that everything they talk about, wear, and do is imitating a celebrity. They should be classified as walking advertisements as much as they are promoting these celebrities. People are lost in illusions of what life is about. This illusion has led humanity to forget or reject their original position in existence. It is important for each person to take it upon themselves to evaluate their lives and recognize the illusions of the way they are walking. Find it within yourself to contribute to the betterment of your life and our humanity.
