In life, we often have difficulties in solving our problems, by the way we don’t grant value to certain advice which could have been used to guide us on the right track. This tale pays homage to the woman who is our mother, the source of life and the cradle of humanity because she occupies a very important place in our lives and in society.

For every human being born into this world, there is a path or course that has been set for their life to follow. This path is what we call destiny. In the modern belief system, the common perception is that the destiny of the individual was given to him/her by the God of his/her respective religion.

There is no way to remove someone from a true spiritual system unless the system they are being forcibly subjugated into resembles the one they are coming from.

The principle of Kujichagulia is at the heart of what I am referring. Self-Determination - to define ourselves, name ourselves, create for ourselves and speak for ourselves. This must be done according to values that are our own.

We can learn a lot from observing nature.

The concept of Kuumba, creativity, means to do always as much as we can, in the way we can, in order to leave our community more beautiful and beneficial than we inherited it.

Initiatic Reflections through Poetry

In 1990, The Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act was passed.  This act provides mechanisms for museums to return human remains, funeral objects and sacred objects to the Native communities where they originated.

In the indigenous world, it is readily understood that different Neteroo (Gods) exist in different locations on Earth. Each of these Neteroo has specific qualities, and much of the diversity seen throughout different indigenous cultures is based upon the different preferences of the Neter (God) in each location. This diversity can/called also be seen in the countless Qi Gong schools that exist throughout the world today, each practicing different exercises but all belonging to the same body of knowledge.
