Spiritual Observation

Fish Day : Tehuti 9

Fish day has been celebrated for more than 45,000 years as the Sebbit day.  On this day, everyone from the Pharaoh to the farmer will eat fish with his vegetables and cereals.  Humanity celebrates this day as the day of reconciliation between mankind and all the animals living on the land.  On this day, we honor every land animal that has red blood and breathes with lungs, moves on land, and has any expression as creatures advancing on Divine paths.

According to ancient scripts, the ninth of Tehuti is the day mankind refuses to eat any animal belonging to his world.  One eats fish as a symbol of equality among all humans in front of Gods.  One shares fish with friends, neighbors, and passers-by.

The day of Sebbit is, in reality, a spiritual fest with values and elements that belong in the initiation world.  Everyone can benefit from the spiritual advantages associated with this day by practicing the Sebbit, meaning refusing to eat any animal that breathes air, bleeds blood and inhabits the same environment as humans.

Day of Hermes : Tehuti 19

The nineteenth of Tehuti is the day the seventy-seven commandments were introduced to humanity.  This day is the celebration of human moral and intellectual qualities.  The Day of Hermes is the day humanity decided to differentiate themselves from other species through the quality of the civilization it was constructing.

The ancient scripts say that the God Wsr was the one that brought the commandments to humanity.  Originally, humankind was living a rudimentary life completely based on instinct and emotion.  The God brought the future perspectives by offering humanity the ability of not only approaching the World of Gods, but also by being part of the Perfect Model of existence.

This is the official day that enlightenment came upon humanity.  It is the day on which the possibility of a future presents itself to humanity, which, until that day, was crawling in the darkness of desperation of a life with no sacred values.

This day is celebrated with fruit and honey.  One eats fruit dipped in honey after one has repeated, "Maata is sweet.  Maata is our light.  The truth is sweet.  The truth is out path.  Justice is sweet.  Justice is out path.  Goodness is sweet.  Goodness is out path."

Charm of Aishat : Penipt 6

The sixth of the month of Penipt (Day of the Charm of Aishat) is dedicated to the expression of the magic power of the Goddess Aishat.  The Goddess Aishat is one of the rare deities, past and present, that transcends geography, time and cultural barriers to affect the course of the world.  She is worshipped by all people under diverse names.  Her original name is Aissiata, but she can be found under the names of Assietou, Aicha, Setou, Ai, Aissia, and more.  The Greeks adopted her under the name of Isis, Ishtar, Minerva, Europ, Danae, Alcmene, Leto, Semele, Coronis, Mary, etc.

Aishat is recognizable as a Mother Goddess, provider of love and protection.  Every human being can be put in the position of the God-son Heru as a result of the incomparable love between a dead God Wsr (Osiris) and the powerful Goddess, who's love is so strong that it could snatch her husband from the hands of death.  Aishat has always been the benefactor Goddess with extraordinary magic powers.  If the God Wsr has won over death, it is because Aishat's love for him was so strong that she enabled him to overcome death.

This is what the whole humanity is celebrating on the 6th of Penipt.  Traditionally, it is the date which every human with paranormal powers exposes their abilities to the public.  This day is celebrated throughout the whole world under different traditions, and sometimes as carnivals that are directed to God-mothers.

In Africa, the celebration of the Charm of Aishat is a period of joy and reconciliation between mankind, his ancestors, and Gods.  in initiation camps, this is the occasion for the neophyte to come closer to the sacred and also expose themselves to magic.  Individually, one can celebrate the Charm of Aishat with sequences of prayers to the Goddess, a meditative retreat, or a day of fasting (spiritual fasting happens between sunrise and sunset - one does not eat, drink, smoke, etc.), and at sunset, one can organize a feast in the name of the Goddess.

Sunstick Day : Penipt 23

Sunstick Day is an astronomical event that represents the official day from which the distance between the Earth and the sun becomes greater than the distance in the equinoxes and the summer solstice.  This date marks a starting point of a dangerous distancing of the Earth from the sun.  This happens with important astronomical consequences : the slowing down of the rotation and speed of the Earth, the cooling down of Earth, the pronounced interference of the energies from the celestial bodies, and the accentuation of the gravitational forces of Earth.

The slowing down of the speed of the rotation and revolution of Earth, among other consequences, happens with outcomes on our daily lives that are easy to observe.  It becomes difficult for the heart to pump blood through the body.  This leads to a poor irrigation of our brain, having a consequence of a tendency for bad humor and depression.  The tendency we have of thinking that winter is a period of sadness is explained more by the slowing down of the rotation of Earth than by the cold and lack of sun.

This day is named Sunstick Day simply because it is the official date from which the sun starts distancing itself from the Earth.  This is translated in popular expressions by a legend of the sun entering its phase of age and turning old, losing its vigor - it becomes slow like an old person.  The expression "sunstick" is an analogy of an old person using the help of a cane for their movements.

This date marks the official entering of the Earth in the period covering the winter solstice.  According to the tradition of the initiation schools, no material preparation for the ceremonies that commemorate the winter solstice start before this date.

It is important for the reader to understand the value of the influence of the celestial bodies on all the aspects of the energetic expression of the Earth.  We will make it our duty to bring it to public knowledge and will be happy to receive your question and opinions.

Death of Wsr : Ateeri 17

It is on this sad date that the forces of evil represented by the sterile and jealous God Seth marked a victory over the good and vital forces of the world.  Wsr, the God-father of humans, has been deceived and put in a coffin and was thrown in the Nile River, which dragged him to the sea.  The Goddess Aishat found him many months later, and while she was hiding his body with the goal to come later and give him his life back, Seth found the body and cut it into fourteen pieces that he threw into the sea.

The God is dead.  And, in the World of the Dead, he found himself with new obligations set by the creator Gods : now he had to build an eternal kingdom in which from now on humans will come to be judged for their actions.  Wsr will then become Wsr-Unefer, the merciful God that, by being the first one to be created, opened the door of the creation of life, and by being the first to die, organized the kingdom of the World of the Dead.  This then accomplished the cycle of life (ankh).  The Goddess Aishat wandered throughout the world in search of the pieces of the body of her husband : she found them, reassemble them, and with her power, resuscitated the God.  It is this part of the resurrection of the God that set the path to the human cycles of reincarnation.

The 17th of Ateeri is considered the saddest date in the spiritual memory of humankind.  The spiritual texts say that most of the words that become common to many languages are born from what we now call the "Holy Drama".  These are some examples :

Crisis : the state of the Goddess Aishat (Isis) when she was informed of the death of her husband.  It is said that people fainted when they heard the cries of the Goddess.

Hypocrisy : deceit and lies used by the God Seth so that he could throw the God Wsr in the water and cause the crisis that followed (hypocrisy equals hippo plus crisis, hippo meaning water).

All the ideas about the judgment after death that are preached by new religions are born from this story.  Let's notice that it is our awareness about the existence of the underground world that is responsible for the fact that we bury our dead so that their bodies will not be too far away from the course that is followed by their souls.  The Europeans only started burying their dead around the year 320AD of the Gregorian Calendar.

The European ideology, later on, presented Wsr as the God of the Dead simply with the goal of discouraging our understanding of that God that dies to judge the dead and resurrects for our redemption.

The day of the 17th of Ateeri is a mourning day and a day of sadness.  Generally one fasts from sunrise to sunset.  One spends this time in lamentations and prayers before breaking the fast at sunset.
